Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing hazards:    (a) For the employee who was crushed by a John Deere 544K loader while performing clean-up operations at the well site identified as Robuck 6093 13-1T, Lignite, ND.    Abatement Note: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement would be to ensure employees are aware of vehicle-related workplace hazards and avoidance mechanisms.
