OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: struck by hazards.   a) 4 Van Alen Place, Pompton Plains, NJ   The location for a tree removal operation was not considered before employees removed a downed tree. As a result, the 40ft tall tree rolled down a hill and over an employee's foot during removal operations.   Violation occurred on or about 05/27/2013
