29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.        a) On or about 6/04/13, on roof at the southwest corner of Building B, on the True Bethel Townhomes Construction site, 858 E. Ferry St., Buffalo, NY: An employee was exposed to a potential fall of 9 ft. 2 in. while cleaning mortar dust/debris off the roof surface. The pitch of the roof was 6 in 12. No guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or other fall protection system was utilized to protect the employee.      NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
