29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about June 5, 2013 and at times prior to, employees were observed working on the roof of a commercial building (Gas Station) without fall protection such as, but not limited to conventional and or a safety monitor, exposing employees up to a 20 foot fall hazard. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED.
