29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE):  (a) Employee(s) soldering radiators in the radiater room were exposed to unknown lead levels. Employee lead exposure levels during soldering operations had not been assessed to determine what personal protective equipment may be necessary.   Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
