A Sharp Carousel microwave oven was powered through a relocatable power tap.  Listing and labeling instructions require the equipment be powered through a wall outlet.  B.  A Power Sentry relocatable power tap was used to power a Sharp Carousel microwave oven.  Listing and labeling instructions state that relocatable power taps are intended to provide outlet receptacles for computers, audio and video equipment and other low voltage equipment.

The power tap was subject to damage from being overloaded.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:   On or about July 24, 2013, in the following locations, the working space before electrical equipment was blocked by storage:  A.  Shipping/Receiving:  The works space in front of a 120V GE Powermark Gold Load Center was blocked by barrels of waste oil.    B.  Storage Area, behind Bridgeport manual milling machine:  The work space in front of a Siemens 3-phase Indoor Load Center was blocked by the storage of a rolling cart of parts.
