29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.    At a jobsite in Sycamore, Illinois employees conducting commercial roofing work approximately 23 feet above grade were not using any method of fall protection.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).    Duerson Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312215205, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 2, 2008 with respect to a workplace located at 101 S. Buckner-Tarsney Road, Grain Valley, MO.
