29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): A training program was not provided to each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards, to enable that employee to recognize the hazards of falling, and be trained in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: a- 455 Delsea Drive, Malaga NJ: On or about 07/31/13 company employees, performing stucco application and other EFIS related actvities less than six feet from unprotected edges of a pitched roof, were exposed to falls in exces of 9 feet 7 inches to the ground surface below when they were not provided with any fall protection. In addition, the company employees had not received fall protection training. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
