29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): A training program was not provided to each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards, to enable that employee to recognize the hazards of falling, and be trained in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards:    a- 455 Delsea Drive, Malaga NJ: On or about 07/31/13 company employees, performing stucco application and other EFIS related actvities less than six feet from unprotected edges of a pitched roof, were exposed to falls in exces of 9 feet 7 inches to the ground surface below when they were not provided with any fall protection.  In addition, the company employees had not received fall protection training.        NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):  Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system; or, on roofs 50 feet (15.25 m) or less in width, the use of a safety monitoring system alone:  a- 455 Delsea Drive, Malaga NJ: On or about 07/31/13 company employees, performing stucco application and other EFIS related actvities less than six feet from unprotected edges of a pitched roof, were exposed to falls in exces of 9 feet 7 inches to the ground surface below when they were not provided with any fall protection.
