29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    This violation occurred on August 22, 2013 and at time prior thereto; in the assembly line, where employees were exposed to rotating part hazards while operating drill press and vertical Mill:    a) Employees used Shop Fox drill press that did not have a guard installed over rotating drill bits;    b) Employees used VecTrax vertical Mill that did not have a guard installed over rotating drill bits.
