29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using a tight-fitting face piece respirator were not annually fit tested.  The employer does not ensure that employee's using tight-fitting face piece respirators were fit tested annually.    The violation occurred in the Silicon Carbide Manufacturing area on or about August 23, 2013 and at times prior thereto where the employer failed to ensure that employee's required to wear a full and/or half face respirator were fit tested at least annually. This condition exposed employees to Methyltrichlorosilane inhalation hazards.  Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date the employer must submit documentation showing it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps it is taking to ensure that employee's using a tight-fitting face piece respirator were fit testing annually.
