29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs"  Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   a) On or about August 19, 2013 at a jobsite located at 540 Oak Park Avenue, Beecher, IL. 60401 - Employees performing roofing activities on a roof with a 6:12 to 8:12 pitch were not protected from falling by the use of personal fall arrest systems, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards of approximately fifteen (15) five (5) inches.
