Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.    (a) East College Avenue, State College, Pennsylvania - The employer did not provide an authorized fall protection system for the employees performing roofing work on the low slope roof.  Employees were exposed to a fall of 20 feet from the eave to the concrete sidewalk below on or about September 5, 2013.  Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.

The employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 20 feet from the eave to the concrete sidewalk in the front of the building on or about September 5, 2013.
