29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn nor a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift:  location: exterior of building on or about: 9/4/13   a) An employee was traveling in a Snorkel aerial lift. The employee did not have a lanyard attached to the boom or basket.  NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.  Hudson Valley Glass & Metal Works, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.453(b)(2)(v) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 571700, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 8/12/13, with respect to a workplace located at Hudson Valley Community College, Science Building, Troy, NY 12180.
