29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure that meets a provision described in paragraph (b) of 29 CFR 1926.501.   a) Front of residence located at 918 Sandringham Drive, Milton, Georgia . The employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 22-feet 10-inches while installing weatherproofing materials. The employees, working from a steep pitched, 8 in 12, unprotected roof, were not utilizing fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access.   a) Front of residence located at 918 Sandringham Drive, Milton, Georgia. The employer exposed employees to fall hazards while mounting and dismounting an aluminum extension ladder. The side rails of the ladder did not extend at least 3-feet above the upper landing, a steep pitched, 8 in 12, unprotected roof, which was 22-feet 10-inches above ground level.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who was exposed to fall hazards that enabled each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.   a) Front of residence located at 918 Sandringham Drive, Milton, Georgia. The employer, who exposed employees to fall hazards of 22-feet 10-inches while installing weatherproofing materials, did not provide a training program, which would have enabled the exposed employees to recognize and minimize the hazards associated with falls.
