29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i): Shaft end(s) projecting more than one half the diameter of the shaft were not guarded: a) Alpha Sintered Metals, Inc., secondary department, slotter machine. On or about September 11, 2013, the shaft end that projects from the front of the machine near the operator's area was not guarded. The diameter of the shaft is 3/4" and projected 3" from the machine.
