29 CFR 1926.701(b): Reinforcing steel. All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and into which employees could fall, shall be guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement. (a) East Jobsite - On or about September 17, 2013 employees were exposed to an impalement hazard while installing plywwod concrete forms around exposed rebar that was 9-20 inches above metal decking. The rebar was not guarded.
