29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5): Enclosed workplace(s) were not so constructed, equipped, and maintained to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents, insects, or other vermin. A continuing and effective extermination program was not instituted where their presence was detected: (a) The McWhorter Army Reserve Center (Building D-627) was not constructed, equipped, and maintained to prevent the entrance or harborage of mice. Dead mice, as well as their feces and urine were identified on desks, floors, supply cage areas, and in office spaces. The employer had not instituted a continuing and effective extermination program to eliminate this condition. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.305(j)(2)(iv): A receptacle installed in a wet or damp location was not suitable for the location: (a) Standard wall receptacles identifed in at least four offices of the 2nd Brigade 98th Training Division, housed in the Army Reserve Center, were not suitable for such wet/damp locations. This hazardous condition, which resulted from rainwater entering the building through a leaky roof, would expose employees to electric shock/electrocution. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED
