This most recently occurred when the employer allowed employees to operate a pedestal bench grinder without a work rest in place on the grinder.    Among other methods, feasible and acceptable methods of abatement are:        1)  Ensure that bench grinders have appropriately installed and adjusted work rests within 1/8 inch of the grinding wheel.        2)  Ensure that employees have received training on the proper guarding of grinders.

Among other methods, feasible and acceptable methods of abatement are:        1)  Ensure that employees are trained on the hazards of dust accumulations.        2)  Ensure that a housekeeping program is developed and implemented to eliminate accumulations of fugitive dust.
