29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Construction site - Two employees working from the porch and south wing roofs were not adequately trained in the use of the personal fall arrest system in that the employees did not understand the limitations of the equipment. b) Construction site - One employee working from the porch roof and main roof was not instructed in the application, use and inspection of the personal fall arrest equipment; or the employees knowledge of the application, use and inspection of the personal fall arrest equipment was not ascertained by the employer.
