29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met, and which also includes the following: a.) K&R Concrete Finishing and Construction; Defense Supply Center Building 24: On or about 10/29/13, a written hazard communication program was not developed for the chemicals used in the workplace such as Portland Cement and Crystalline Silca found in Ready Mix Concrete.

29 CFR 1926.50(g): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. a.) K&R Concrete Finishing and Construction; Defense Supply Center Building 24: On or about 10/29/13, an approved eyewash capable of providing 15 minutes of continuous flow was not provided in the immediate area while the corrosive material Ready Mix Concrete was in use.
