29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets.  On or about 24 October 2013, three employees were performing framing activities at a residential home under construction. Employees were standing and working beneath each other while using a pneumatic nail gun and passing pieces of lumber up to one another without the use of head protection, exposing the employees to the hazard of being struck by falling objects.
