29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut. On November 05, 2013 and times prior to, employees were using a circular handfed ripsaw which the blade was not completely guarded. This condition exposed employees to cuts, lacerations, and amputation hazards.

29 CFR 1910.147(c)(5)(ii)(C)(1): Lockout devices were not substantial enough to prevent removal without the use of excessive force or unusual techniques, such as with the use of bolt cutters or other metal cutting tools. On November 05, 2013, and times prior to, employee were working near a cuicilar saw that was locked out but the lock was not locked. This condion exposed employees to potential cuts, lacerations, and amputation hazards.
