29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  a) 722 Adam Street, Hoboken, NJ west side of commercial building  Employees were removing material from the roof of a commercial building via a rope to the ground surface below. Employees receiving the material did not have a hard hat or any other means of head protection.   Violation observed on or about 10/04/2013

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  722 Adam Street, Hoboken, NJ west side of commercial building  Sub-contractor employees were conducting demolition work on a roof surface approximately 35ft above the ground level without any means of fall protection.   Violation observed on or about 10/04/2013
