29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: Jobsite located at 12338 W. 164th Ter Overland Park, KS 66062 - Employees installing shingles were exposed to eye injury hazards associated with construction work in that eye protection was not provided while using the pneumatic nail gun. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: Jobsite located at 12338 W. 164th Ter Overland Park, KS 66062 - Employees installing shingles were exposed to fall hazards of 15 feet from the roof to the ground below. Employees were working on the 6x12 pitch roof with no fall protection methods in use. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification and documentation that the abatement of the above violation is complete.

Employees were not trained effectively to recognize the circumstances when fall protection was required and the means/methods to implement to ensure compliance. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
