29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Each circular hand-fed ripsaw shall be guarded by a hood which shall completely enclose that portion of the saw above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut.     a) Workplace, shop area- Employees were cutting wood on a Jet Table Saw that did not have a guard; on or about 11/4/13.    b) Workplace, shop area- Employees were cutting wood on a Delta Table Saw that did not have a guard; on or about 11/4/13.    Note:  In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

Note:  In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:    (a)  Workplace, shop area- Employees use and are exposed to hazardous materials, such as, but not limited to Chesler Contact Cement GL1352. The employer did not develop or implement a written Hazard Communication Program for exposed employees; on or about 11/4/13.    Note:  The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.    ABATEMENT NOTE:  The written program  shall include descriptions of how the criteria for the following will be met:    1. Labeling and other forms of warning  2. Safety Data Sheets  3. Employee information and training including but not limited to: Chesler Contact Cement, GL 1352.  4. A list of hazardous chemicals in the workplace.  5. Methods used to inform employees of the hazards associated with non routine tasks and,  6. Methods to inform contractors in the workplace.    The written program must be made available upon request.
