29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a) Wolfpack Product Hay Barn: On November 6, 2013 employees performed activities which supported the roof decking operation without a fall protection system in place.  Employees stood on the roof of the existing hay barn and handed up sheets of roof deck to the employees on the hay canopy, exposing them to a 20 foot fall hazard to the concrete pad below.     Note) Abatement certification AND documentation are required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who was on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems:  a) Wolfpack Product Hay Canopy: On November 6, 2013 an employee performed roof decking activities without a fall protection system in place.  The employee was exposed to a 25 foot fall hazard to the ground below.    Note) Abatement certification AND documentation are required for this item.
