(a) Establishment: Employees including but not limited to Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and Recreational Assistants have exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material in the course of their work, but annual review and update of the Exposure Control Plan was not conducted, thus potentially exposing employees to bloodborne pathogens on or about October 28, 2013.

29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(1)(v): An employer, who is required to establish an Exposure Control Plan shall solicit input from non-managerial employees responsible for direct patient care who are potentially exposed to injuries from contaminated sharps in the identification, evaluation, and selection of effective engineering and work practice controls and shall document the solicitation in the Exposure Control Plan. (a) Establishment: Employees including but not limited to Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and Recreational Assistants have exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material in the course of their work, but annual solicitation to identify, evaluate and selection of effective engineering controls and work practices from the employees was not documented, thus potentially exposing employees to bloodborne pathogens on or about October 28, 2013.
