29 CFR 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(a): Point of operation guard(s) on mechanical power press(es) did not prevent entry of hands or fingers into the point of operation by reaching through, over, under or around the guard(s):    Press Room:  Employees were exposed to amputation hazards due to inadequate point of operation guards as follows:  1.  #4 Federal 22-ton press where a non-permanent, movable screen allowed employees to reach into the point of operation.  2.  #6 Komatsu 35-ton press where there was an opening 3-inches x 23-inches above the guard frame, approximately 10-inches from the point of operation, and the guard was made with a screen material which did not provide adequate protection from the point of operation.
