29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems:    a) On the southeast corner of the roof, on November 7, 2013, the employer did not ensure an employee who was performing steel removal work at a height of twenty three feet from the ground level was protected from fall hazards through the deployment of a fall arrest system, exposing the employee to the hazards associated with death, broken bones, lacerations, sprains, and bruises.     ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.761(b): The employer did not train each employee exposed to a fall hazard in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.761:     a) On the southeast corner of the roof, on November 7, 2013, the employer did not provide training for an employee was performing steel removal work near the edge of the building at height of twenty-three feet from the ground level, exposing the employee to the hazards associated with death, broken bones, lacerations, sprains, and bruises.     ABATEMENT CERTIFICAITON IS NOT REQUIRED
