29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):    a) 1st Floor South side or Rear of the Building - A foreman and a glass carpenter were observed without fall protection while working near and at the edge of the door opening exposing them to a 10 foot 6 inch fall hazard, on or about 12/03/13.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail:   a) North Side of the Building - A foreman was observed entering the building using the job made stairs which was not equipped with a standard handrail exposing him to a 5 ½ foot fall hazard, on or about 12/03/13.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
