29 CFR 1926.800(b)(1): Safe means of access and egress to all underground construction work stations was not provided and maintained: a. Emory University Hospital Project, 1365 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA (Inside the Caission) - An employee was exposed to an entrapment hazard. An employee was caught between a large water pump and caission wall while trying to escape in an emergency due to limited means of access and egress in the caisson when ground water was entering and rising inside the caission where the employee was testing the rock, on or about 12/3/13.
