29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s)  a- 30 Emerald Road, Robbinsville NJ: A competent person did not conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite.  Employees at this site were exposed to hazards including, but not limited to, fall hazards when performing snow removal less than six feet from unprotected, elevated surfaces without the use of any fall protection.  Condition observed on or about 12/11/13.    NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided:  a- 30 Emerald Road, Robbinsville NJ: An employee, not wearing fall protection, was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 13 feet 4 inches to the ground surface below when performing snow removal and other related activities less than six feet from unprotected edges of a flat surface of a new residentilal home.  Condition observed on or about 12/11/13.
