On are about December 18, 2013, on the east side of the construction site, employees engaged in framing activities utilized a Makita skill saw with the power cord outer sheathing split exposing internal wiring.  Employees were exposed to electrical and shock hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b).      On or about December 18, 2013, employees engaged in framing activities worked without fall protection and were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet.

On or about December 18, 2013, employees engaged in framing activities were not provided a ladder for access to the second level exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet.
