Condition occurred on December 18, 2013.

29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3)(i)(A)(1): When an unqualified person was working in an elevated position near overhead lines with voltages to ground rated at 50 kV or below, the location was not such that the person and the longest conductive object he or she could contact would not come closer to any unguarded, energized overhead line than 10 feet (305 cm):  a) 21 Henry Street, Summit, NJ 07902: Employees were allowed to perform tree removal operations in close proximity to energized power lines, utilizing a crane to remove portions of the tree following cutting.  The crane hoist line and sling were lowered between the primary and secondary power lines to the climber, exposing him to electrical hazards.   Condition occurred on December 18, 2013.

The crane hoist line and sling were lowered between the primary and secondary power lines to the climber, exposing him to electrical hazards.   Condition occurred on December 18, 2013.

The crane hoist line and sling were lowered between the primary and secondary power lines to the climber, exposing him to electrical hazards. Protective shields, barriers, or insulating materials were not used to prevent contact with energized overhead power lines.  Condition occurred on December 18, 2013.
