29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1): The employer did not certify to OSHA, within 10 calendar days after the abatement date, that the cited violation had been abated: (a) MG Drywall & Construction Services LTD did not provide certification on each of the cited items: Citation 1 Item 1: Frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite were not conducted by a competent person to ensure hazardous situations were found and corrected. Citation 1 Item 2: Employees conducting carpentry operations on the 1st and 2nd floor of the main lodge were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 13.5 feet. Citation 1 Item 3: Employees were not protected from falling to the lower level when using a walkway to access the back deck of the main lodge to conduct carpentry operations. Citation 1 Item 4: Employees conducting carpentry operations near the wall opening of west elevation on the first floor of the main lodge were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 13.4 feet. Citation 1 Item 5: The employer did not ensure that employees exposed to fall hazards had been trained to recognize and minimize the fall hazards associated with their work.
