29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.     (a)    Maror Texture & Drywall, 2300 Walnut St., Denver, CO 80205: On and before January 15, 2014, the employer did not ensure that employees working from a 4th story balcony were protected by a personal fall arrest system. The employee was lowering a hose from the 4th story to the ground. This condition exposed the employee to a fall hazard.      Abatement Note:  Abatement certification is not required for this item (see enclosed Abatement-Certification Letter").
