29 CFR 1926.416(b)(2): Working spaces, walkways, and similar locations were not kept clear of cords which created a hazard to employees:        a) On or about 1/21/14, in Stairwell 7, C Wing, where steam riser improvements were underway at the VA Hospital, 3495 Bailey Ave., Buffalo, NY: An extension cord supplied power to a laptop computer that was set up in the second floor stair landing. The cord was laying on the floor and ran across the entire landing. One part of the cord was actually elevated off the floor about 3 inches. The cord was a tripping hazard.       NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
