29 CFR 1926.451(f)(4): Any part of a scaffold damaged or weakened such that its strength is less than that required by paragraph (a) of this section was not immediately repaired or replaced, braced to meet those provisions, or removed from service until repaired:  (a) 35 Sugarloaf St Deerfield, MA: On or about November 14, 2013 numerous scaffold planks that were used to support employees and materials, exhibited damage such as cracks, splits and weathering that weakened those planks, which were not immediately repaired or replaced as required by this subpart:  Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level:  (a) 35 Sugarloaf St Deerfield, MA: On or about November 14, 2013 an employee was working from a scaffold plank that was more than 11.5FT above the ground below without any protection from falling to that lower level:  Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
