OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by or crushing injuries:     a. Site - On or about January 29, 2014, two employees were assigned trash removal duty. To perform this activity one employee operated the Kubota tractor and the second employee attached the cable to the bottom of the trash container while the container was elevated. When the container was elevated an employee would be positioned underneath the load to attach the cable. The employee was exposed to a struck by or crushing hazard.
