29 CFR 1910.179(j)(1)(ii): The employer did not perform frequent and periodic inspections for cranes in regular use as defined in paragraphs (a) and (b) of this section.     On or about January 30, 2014, and times prior thereto, the employer did not perform frequent and periodic inspections for the Gorbel 1/2-ton capacity jib crane to determine the nature of critical components and the degree of their exposure to wear, deterioration or malfunction.  This exposed employees to struck-by and/or caught-between hazards.

This exposed employees to struck-by/caught-between hazards.
