29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Location: Jobsite Employees were exposed to fall hazards of greater than 6 feet from second floor decking to the ground below, while working where fall protection had not been used or provided. Instance 1) Employees were applying plywood flooring on the second floor deck where no fall protection was used or provided. One employee fell greater than 15 feet to the ground. Instance 2) The stairwell opening was not guarded with a midrail around the opening, exposing employees to a fall hazard while framing the second floor.
