OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing for likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and caught-in hazards while operating a powered industrial truck with unapproved attachments.     On or about February 5, 2014 employees of Producers Co-op Gin were exposed to caught-in and struck-by hazards due to the failure of the employer to ensure that each employee that operated a powered industrial truck was competent to operate a powered industrial truck and that all attachments were approved by the manufacturer.
