29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).    (a)Denver Newspaper Agency at 5990 N. Washington Street, Denver, CO 80216; On and before February 7, 2014, the exposing employer failed to adequately assess the workplace and provide personal protective equipment to his employees based on that assessment.  Specifically, the employer did not ensure employee's hands were protected while carrying aluminum print templates to the rollers and then attached to the rollers as a portion of the printing operation.  The condition exposed employees attaching the plates to amputation and laceration hazards.
