29 CFR 1926.850(b): When employees are required to work within a structure to be demolished which has been damaged by fire, flood, explosion, or other causes, the walls or floor shall be shored or braced.   On or about February 11, 20114 workers were engaged in commercial construction activities renovating a damaged, existing wooden covered bridge, number C116-1.21, located at 6274 Stonelick-Williams Corner, Owensville, Ohio. Workers were working on the metal and wooden deck area ensuring the proper camber for the 140.0 foot long structure. Workers were exposed to fall and struck by hazards in that the upper section of the structure was not properly braced to prevent bridge from tipping and/or collapsing.
