29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):  The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them):      (a)     Dun-Rite Home Improvements, Inc. at 824 Glenarbor Circle, Longmont, CO 80504: On or before February 26, 2014, the employer did not ensure a safety program was developed and implemented for the work environment to include regular inspections of the job-site, materials, and equipment; conducted by a competent person.  Two employees were engaged in the removal of old windows and installation of new windows on the 2nd level of a single family residential home while standing on the roof.  This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9-10 feet.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided:     (a)     Dun-Rite Home Improvements, Inc. at 824 Glenarbor Circle, Longmont, CO 80504: On or before February 26, 2014, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that two employees were engaged in the removal of old windows and installation of new windows on the 2nd level of a single family residential home while standing on the roof.  This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9-10 feet.

This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9-10 feet.
