29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s): The employer allows workers to be exposed to hazardous conditions created by not conducting frequent or regular inspections. The most recent occurrence was at 240 Montecito Terrace, St. Peters, MO 63304, where they failed to make frequent or regular inspections of the worksite to ensure all workers were in compliance with company safety and health policies and OSHA standards. The workers were exposed to the following hazards: a) An approximate 9-foot, 8-inch fall hazard as they worked on the roof without the use of an adequate fall protection system and/or fall arrest system b) An approximate 9-foot, 8-inch fall hazard as the used a ladder to access the roof that did not extend the necessary 3 feet above the landing c) Employees failed to wear eye protection while operating nail guns to perform roofing operations.
