29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(I): Protection was not provided to avoid damage to flexible cords and cables used for temporary wiring which passed through doorways or other pinch points:  a)  Jackson Lab Genomic Medicine Job Site - On or about 3-24-14 - Employees using flexible cords for portable tools were exposed to minor burn hazards by running the cords over, around and through metal stud work with sharp edges with no protection for the cords.

29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iii): The repair splice in a hard service flexible cord No. 12 or larger did not retain the insulation, outer sheath properties, and usage characteristics of the cord which was being used:  a)  Jackson Lab Genomic Medicine Job Site - On or about 3-24-14 - Employees were observed using flexible extension cords and screw guns with the flexible cords repaired by electrical tape.
