29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access. (a) Jobsite - On or about March 27, 2014 an extension ladder being used by employees was not extended at least 3 feet above the landing. The roof edge was approximately 8 feet above ground.
