29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step: Road adjacent to 11105 Hwy 6, Thaxton, MS - On or about April 3, 2014, employees were exposed to fall hazards because of using the top step and the top cap of a 7 foot step ladder. (a) An employee stood on the top step of a step ladder while framing near the top edge of a wall. (b) An employee used a step ladder to descend from the ceiling rafters by stepping on the top cap and top step of a step ladder.
