29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   The employer does not provide fall protection for each employee 6 feet or more above lower levels.  This violation was observed on or about April 4, 2014, at the job site where an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while laying tile without being provided fall protection working 6 feet or more above a lower level.     Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees are protected from falls when working 6 feet or more above lower levels.
